To Starlight We Come

Twenty-Year-Old Kadiatou N'Diaye loves being a thief and can't wait to live out the rest of her days with all the luxuries money can buy. When a gig goes south and she becomes the scapegoat, she finds herself facing a lengthy prison sentence. Except, instead of rotting away behind the bars of a prison cell, Kadiatou becomes the latest recruit for a new government initiative to rehabilitate young offenders - in space.

For the past two years, Kadiatou has been working her ass off, scrubbing toilets and cleaning dirty pipes on a space station, while yearning to reunite with her family and ex-girlfriend and getting back to her life of crime.

There is one task standing in her path to the future she craves. Prove she is innocent of murder despite the fact that her fingerprints are all over the crime scene and body of a colleague. Either she unveils the actual killer or she'll be sentenced to the worst fate of all - the Space Walk.

On a station where things literally go bump in the night and nothing except the coffee machine seems to work properly, Kadiatou has to rely on her own wit to figure out who the killer is before her future is as empty as the vast space she hopes to avoid as her burial site.
