Helmont High is an average high school in the middle of nowhere, Colorado, completely passed over by the rest of the world. Even those who live there have nothing interesting to say about it.

But when four high schoolers accidentally discover a connection to a magical, reality-bending alternate dimension known only to the people of Helmont, things begin to snowball fast. Follow Avery Gregor and her friends as they uncover the secrets behind this alternate world, in the hopes of finding Avery's long-lost older sister, Julie.
