What is it about the dark, the just out of reach, the unknown? What is it about shadows that calls to us? When we are alone in the night, we dare not look into the black. But when we feel safe, we seek it out in stories, we seek it in any way we can get it.
Perhaps every story of the unknown is a story about a question, the only question that matters; what happens to us when we die? The shadows reminds us there are some things we can't know.
