In a vast universe in which magic and madness collide, a pompous young German named Hermann wakes up one morning only to find that his house has been replaced by a bus stop. Reluctantly accepting shelter in the store cupboard of the horribly optimistic and slightly dimwitted café owner Matilda, he embarks on a painfully bureaucratic journey to get his house back. But standing up to 'the man' is not easy when you are the laziest man on Earth and all you have as support is a clumsy café owner and an indignant French olive who is thoroughly entertained by your failings.
