The Adventures of Superman is a series of newly reedited episodes of the 1940s old time radio show of the same name. Episodes are edited to enhance the pacing, as well as adding new sound effects and music.
I love the radio show THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN as it is, but I had a few ideas of how to make it more accessible to modern audiences. The original episodes have a runtime of ~12 minutes, including an intro and an outro, a commercial break and rather long recaps as well as quite a few scenes of expositional dialogue. That's why I cut everything unnecessary, rearranged certain scenes and turned longer story arcs into one continuous episode. I also added sound effects, as well as John Williams' score and other musical cues from Gustav Mahler, Richard Wagner and others.
