The Shadow Radio Plays is a live performance of two episodes of the old time radio show The Shadow, “The Death Triangle” and “The Plot Murder”. Between the two episodes is an additional performance of an episode of The Adventures of Superman, “The Baby From Krypton”. The performance is presented by WMCO, a college radio station for Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.
The Shadow Radio Plays were originally recorded and aired live on April 22nd 2012, and were a live event in the Thompson Theater at Muskingum University. Produced by the Advanced Audio Production class of Muskingum University with the assistance and guidance of the Communication Media and Theatre department, these radio dramas features completely live foley sound effects, actors, and a full range of other production elements only seen in the finest of radio dramas. A tribute to the original Shadow radio plays, this production honors the tradition of radio dramatic theater to the fullest scale. This production also features a Superman radio play as well between the two Shadow radio plays produced here. Please enjoy this presentation of the Shadow Radio Plays!
