Midnight Tales From The Bluff City is an audio drama series set in Memphis, Tennessee. “Each episode has a different story, with different characters and takes place in a different decade, each scored by a different Memphis musician within the style of that decade.” There is currently one episode, set in the 1980s, available to listen to.
Midnight Tales From The Bluff City is a 1930s inspired radio serial podcast taking place over the course of 100 years in Memphis, Tennessee. The Bluff City is chock full of gothic history, the birth of several era defining styles of music and host to a myriad of unique and outlandish characters. Each episode takes place in a different decade – starting with the 1980s and working backwards to the 1880s – and tells the sordid tales of an unlucky few who earned their ink in history by tragic ways.
