The Soul Chaperon

In a corporate-controlled afterlife where souls are treated as inventory, a grieving widower working as a soul chaperon goes rogue to stop a spirit-eating creature, only to uncover that his own boss is trafficking souls and may have stolen his wife's, forcing him to dismantle the system from the inside.
