Jack Valentine, Vampire Detective

If the murderer you're looking for is a vampire, then you want a vampire detective. Just maybe not this one.

From their base at Solomon College, Oxford, Jack Valentine and her colleagues are tasked with keeping the existence of vampires secret from humanity. Mostly they hunt those of their number who've got carried away while blood-drinking and killed a human by accident, but occasionally they encounter the most dangerous kind of predator: a vampire serial killer.
